For months now I have had people friend me on Facebook and immediately afterwards they begin spamming my wall with their “cut and paste” message regarding their “Once in a lifetime” latest and greatest opportunity to turn $5 into $5 million in 6 months, with no work! Aaaargggghhh!!! First of all, you’d have to be completely foolish to believe some of there ridiculous claims and secondly it’s rude to post this kind of crud on my wall. Look, it’s like meeting a new person when you are out and about only to come home and find that they’ve put signs up in your yard and on your house advertizing their business! By my agreeing to be a friend doesn’t give someone the right to post their garbage in my front yard or on my Facebook wall., right? Now if you want to drop off some apples, peaches or some holiday cookies I’m all for it, just as I am all for you posting some value to myself and others on my wall. Is this making sense to anyone? If you are asking to be a friend, then act like one. Friends don’t litter the landscape, toilet paper your shrubbery or graffiti your walls and friends don’t “use” their friends Facebook walls as their own personal advertizing space.

2) Amateur’s convince, professionals sort, so be a professional.
3) Some will, some won’t, so what, NEXT!
4) People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
5) People don’t join your company, they join YOU!
Once you understand these 5 points you will be headed in the direction of success. Is this all you need to know? Absolutely not, but the rest will come if you just get started in the right direction. Stop the SPAM and get out there and make some real friends!
